The 2026 ASN Conference will bring together researchers, practitioners, and creative thinkers from across many fields, with sediment in common.
We will explore materials and their motion on Earth, through an interdisciplinary lens.
The 2026 ASN Conference brings together researchers, practitioners, and creative thinkers spanning landfill sites to rivers. Across 19 presentations, we will explore how materials are made, moved, altered, and archived through scientific, archaeological, materials science, engineering, and governance lenses.
